The iAchieve Grade 1 Program is intended to assist in your child’s English, Math, and French learning skills based on the Ontario Curriculum.
In Grade 1, children start learning the basic concepts of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Grade 1 Math introduces the fundamentals in numeration, measurement, and geometry, patterns, and data analysis. Let our ICan Education tutors help your child with their grade 1 homework.

- Develop listening skills in order to understand and reply to the speaker
- Use speaking skills to effectively communicate with different people in a variety of situations
- Be able to read and comprehend a variety of texts, stories, and books

- Adding and subtracting numbers up to 20

iLearn French
The iLearn French Grade 1 program at ICan Education develops your child’s ability to grasp the basic concepts of learning a brand new language!

- Recite and write short simple sentences in French
- Pronounce French vocabulary correctly
- Identify masculine and feminine word endings in adjectives such as: petit/petite
- Identify and practice French language structures such as nouns, verbs, prepositions, and interrogative constructions
